In the crucial battleground state of Pennsylvania, as early voting for the upcoming electoral cycle initiates this week, former President Donald Trump issued a dynamic warning to anyone considering fraudulent acts, via his personal account on Truth Social.

Under the emphatic heading “CEASE & DESIST”, Donald Trump, who served as the 45th president, issued a robust declaration on Tuesday. Aligned with various attorneys and established legal scholars, he avowed a commitment to closely scrutinize the sanctity of the 2024 Presidential Election. This vigilance derives from his personal understanding of extensive cheating and deception he alleges transpired during the 2020 Presidential Election by Democrat representatives—an incident he adamantly labels as disgraceful to our nation.

This public announcement coincided with National Voter Registration Day that this year also doubled as Constitution Day.

The former President and current Republican nominee faces off against Democratic Vice President Kamala Harris in this election cycle. With intent determination, Trump assured that events would deviate significantly from what occurred in 2020.

To reinforce its secure grip on fair elections, the Republican National Committee launched an initiative called ‘Protect the Vote’. Indicative of its rigorous approach, under this initiative’s umbrella over 100 lawsuits have been filed across 25 states and an impressive force of roughly150,000 lawyers plus voluntary poll supervisors has been rallied across national territory.

As an added testament to their vigilant watchfulness Trump declared that owing to him and RNC’s combined oversight; every ballot cast in the anticipated 2024 elections would be subject to intensive professional scrutiny. Moreover, he intends to ensure cheating individuals are prosecuted severely under law following his victory – proposing prison sentences for those found guilty – aimed at preventing any further perversion of justice.

Continuing his fervent pledge via Truth Social post, he refused to allow America slip into ‘Third World’ status due to corrupt behavior including untrustworthy election officials or illicit voters; and maintained commitment to prosecuting any dishonest practices even surpassing levels witnessed previously in the country.

His strong worded warning was first delivered on Truth Social on Sep 7, immediately after early and mail-in voting began in North Carolina—another battleground state.

In response to Trump’s bold statement, Minnesota’s Democratic Secretary of State Steve Simon—who also serves as the president of the National Association Secretaries of State—criticized these threats within his social media circle. Simon argued that it was troubling if ‘cheating’, as defined by Trump, simply meant not liking the election’s outcome. Maintaining faith in the integrity of elected officials, he reassured that fair, accurate and secure elections would persist.

Donald Trump famously challenged the legitimacy of the 2020 election outcomes won by Joe Biden. During their party primaries both candidates had prepared for an impending debate against each other; however, following Biden’s poor performance in a June debate with Trump, Democrats introduced Vice President Kamala Harris as a replacement.
