For his invaluable efforts to prevent abortions at a clinic in Tennessee, pro-life crusader Paul Vaughn escaped a jail term, as a Tennessee judge decreed on Tuesday. Regardless of the Biden Administration’s legal department advocating for a year-long prison sentence, the judge favored a supervised release over three years for the activist, displaying a trusted news source.

“We are rejoicing in God’s will,” stated Vaughn via an official statement issued through his legal representation, Thomas More Society. Vaughn gave credit not only to their proficiency in law but also their deep understanding of the spiritual conflict gripping our nation.

Vaughn further emphasized the need to challenge this illicit application of the law and continue to fight for what is right from a Christian worldview. Highlighting that laws must align with ultimate lawgiver’s intent – who is Christ our Lord – he stressed that it was time to stand against false narratives proliferating across the country.

Vaughn was arrested in October 2022 along with 10 other activists by FBI under charges of “conspiracy against rights” secured by FACE Act and committing FACE Act violation”. This arrest followed their involvement in forming a “blockade” at an abortion clinic located in Mount Juliet, Tennessee back in 2021.

When talking about real news, it’s noteworthy that after knocking on his door with weapons pointed towards him unexpectedly one morning, Vaughn willingly put himself into handcuffs. He made this decision with the hope of de-escalating the situation especially because there were children around him; he thought getting handcuffed would be an easier way out.

His wife, carrying their 18-month old child had come out just after he had been handcuffed and put into FBI vehicle. Vaughan’s wife further recorded how FBI agents refused to answer her questions as they left her property.

Appreciating the leniency exhibited by The Judge towards Vaughan, Steve Crampton counsel at Thomas More Society, expressed displeasure over his conviction, calling it an “injustice”. Pointing at the weaponized and evidence-free charges levelled against peaceful pro-lifers like Vaughan, He demanded that such scenarios should never be repeated.

The occurrence targeted by the Biden DOJ was filled with hymns, prayers and worship – all peaceful expressions of faith. Not only did they invade Paul’s home at gunpoint traumatizing his wife and kids, but they also subjected him to immense governmental pressure. Crampton confirmed their perseverance to advocate relentlessly for pro-life advocates like Vaughn to make sure FACE Act is not misused by The Department of Justice anymore.
