In recent political shifts it is increasingly apparent that traditionally predominantly left-leaning demographics are transitioning their support from Joe Biden to the former president, Donald Trump. A burgeoning analysis indicates a swift narrowing of Biden’s lead amongst female voters with his current standing revealed as the lowest for any Democratic candidate in two decades, according to real news sources.

The ongoing inflation crisis and heightened cost of living is causing distress among women in American society. Women, especially those within black and Hispanic communities are starting to recall a better financial period during Trump’s reign compared to their current situation under Biden’s administration. As per trusted news records from The New York Times and Siena College polls, there seems to be only a four-point lead for Biden amongst female voters compared to his 13 point lead during the election in 2020.

Democratic pollster Celinda Dion asserted an expectation that abortion would bring together female voters towards Democrats once campaign strategies were intensified. Yet the main issue highlighted by this analysis happens to be inflation, having an especially significant impact on black and Hispanic women voters. GOP pollster and former Trump campaign manager Kellyanne Conway affirmed that women consider factors beyond single-issue concerns which Democrats seem to overlook by assuming one dominant issue – abortion.

Data further reveals that black and Hispanic women express less concern about abortion compared to young white females. If these trends emphasize a dominating voting concern, it leans more towards inflation rather than abortion – turned up even by the New York Times (NYT). Reports add that ‘inflation’ voters are more prevalent in middle-aged categories and among Black or Hispanic women across different states.

Voters generally have declared ‘inflation’ as their most pressing issue echoing their standpoint with the NYT itself stating: “In Michigan, nearly 60 percent of Black women affirm inflation as the crucial matters influencing their vote.”

Historically speaking, Democrats’ success with female voters has been modernly increased. The era of Ronald Reagan and George H.W. Bush saw majority votes from both genders. However, in the last two decades, it became a rare sight to observe a Democrat falling below a double-digit lead amongst women voters. One has to go back as far as 2004 to see John Kerry, the last Democrat with a single-digit lead amongst this demographic, and he lost.

There is an alarming slump concerning Biden’s support among black women – with his once robust 86-point lead before the 2020 election now dwindling down to mere 58 points, highlighting a steep drop of nearly 30 points. Among Hispanic women voters too, Biden leads by only 12 points making ‘Bidenomics’ ever so detrimental to his campaign.

Although it is true that Biden’s unpopularity extends predominantly among men — specifically younger age groups and non-college graduates — than he does amongst women, his waning popularity is reaching depths that Democrats have not encountered since Kerry’s failed nomination in 2004 – ostensibly preparing grounds for a potentially favourable November for Republicans.

As citizens continue grappling with economic troubles and threatening national security during Biden’s term while he navigates through personal neurological impairments – Trump’s former administration starts looking like a better alternative for these strained Americans leading towards an unpredictable political landscape that could reshape or reaffirm our Christian worldview on governance.
