As we edge closer to November, current poll trends point towards an increase in support for Donald Trump as he leads against President Joe Biden. The African-American voter segment, traditionally aligned with the Democratic party, seems to be showing a shift. More black voters are expressing their affirmation for the previous president and indicating that their vote may swing towards Trump.

Prominent conservative influencer Benny Johnson attended a recent Trump rally where he interacted with black voters while sporting a T-shirt illustrating Trump’s renowned mugshot from the Fani Willis RICO case. Many attendees voiced that the mugshot further enhanced Trump’s image, making him appear attractive and influential.

Herein lies an unexpected twist; Republicans have been consistently denying the existence of systemic racism adversely affecting black Americans and specifically rejecting the idea of police unfairly targeting people of color. In contrast, one could argue an unfair focus on preventing Trump from returning to the White House by a relentless Department of Justice might resonate with those who share similar experiences due to race.

Nevertheless, this doesn’t suggest Republicans should adopt or reinforce a narrative shaped and used by Democrats. Rather, they could astutely utilize Trump’s legal challenge as a tool to repurpose this narrative against itself, thereby bolstering their assertion that “Democrats are indeed more racist.”

The continuous legal struggle against Trump arguably serves as one of his strongest campaign tools since every legal challenge simply strengthens the resolve of his supporters. Thus, it might be more beneficial for campaign funds to be pumped into encouraging voter participation and ensuring vigilance against election fraud.

Given its importance in shaping opinions though, advertising still necessarily plays its role in conveying hard-hitting messages:

Democrats have spent four years trying to paint Donald Trump as a racist. Yet during his presidency, he oversaw historical numbers of African American and Hispanic citizens rising out of poverty. Liberals also claim racial prejudice on part of law enforcement officials – yet their policies seem only to embolden criminals instead of curbing crime. In fact, Democratic prosecutors seem to be handing out freedom to even the most dangerous offenders in an effort to combat racism.

The result is clear – cities are crumbling under the weight of crime, and when people of all races voice their displeasure at this situation, they become targets for repudiation – just like Donald Trump who is facing bogus charges conjured by Democrats to keep him out of office. It seems that voting for Democrats only ensures increased crime and poverty while giving your vote to Trump could pave way for safer streets and enhanced prosperity. Pondering upon these facts, it begs the question: Who indeed are the real racists?
