A Christian couple from Vermont has spoken out, claiming that their foster care license is under threat of termination due to their views on gender ideology and “gender-affirming care.” Melinda Antonucci, aged 44, and Casey Mathieu, aged 42, conveyed that they were compelled to undertake LGBTQ training as a part of the application procedure. They secured their license in January and temporary fostered a child for two weeks in February.

The couple’s relations with the Vermont Department for Children and Families (DCF) began to deteriorate when Antonucci posted a link advocating parental rights in Essex Westford School District on her Facebook page.
