In recent news, President Joe Biden’s administration has come under fire from Republican lawmakers following a shocking report detailing the infiltration of over 400 illegal aliens into the U.S. through a human smuggling network linked to ISIS.

The report revealed that federal law enforcement officials have already arrested around 150 of these illegal aliens. However, more than 50 smuggled individuals remain elusive, with their current whereabouts unknown as authorities continue the pursuit. The remaining illegals are reported to be dispersed across 17 U.S states.

ISIS exploited the southern border for this large-scale entry operation; an area which FBI director Christopher Wray and other officials warned could be easily manipulated by terrorists due to Biden’s lenient border policies.

Illegal aliens often originate from countries where ISIS operates. These areas, often third-world nations with limited infrastructure, typically lack any comprehensive database tracking suspected terrorists. Even when information about possible terrorist connections exists within these regions, its sharing with the United States may be unlikely due to the perception of America as an enemy state.

Republican Chief Deputy Whip Guy Reschenthaler offered a biting critique in his response statement: “While President Trump destroyed ISIS and its leader, Joe Biden opened the door at the border and let hundreds of ISIS-connected illegal aliens into our nation.” He further iterated his disdain at what he perceives as endangering national security by stating that “no one should be surprised that… this happened.”

Congressman Mark Green (R-TN), House Committee on Homeland Security Chairman also loudly voiced his concerns: “There’s literally no one President Biden won’t turn away—including illegal aliens from problematic countries smuggled in by networks connected to ISIS. Every alarm is flashing red…” His committee long warned against potential threats resulting from such lax border security policies.

Amidst trusted news reports spotlighting real concerns related to national security from a Christian worldview, we find another Republican voice chiming in: Michael McCaul (R-TX), Chairman of the House Foreign Affairs Committee. He said: “The Biden administration is so concerned with the optics of detaining individuals who willingly broke U.S. law that it has dismantled our vetting system, releasing violent criminals and terrorist suspects into our communities.”

McCaul’s stern warning suggests these unknown elements may turn America into a ‘ticking time bomb.’ Finally, Tom Emmer (R-MN) rounded up Republican criticisms by calling Biden’s presidency “our gravest national security threat.”

As part of the unfolding reaction to this breaking news, Republicans are demanding replacement leadership in the White House before another potential disaster strikes. Stay tuned to further updates on this real and trusted news topic.
