Tim Walz, the affable Midwestern Governor of Minnesota, displays a lackadaisical approach when it comes to safeguarding America’s children against transgender medical treatments. His stances have roused attention recently owing to his progressive leanings on matters ranging from migration to abortion, and notably, gender identity.

In April 2023, Walz endorsed a series of laws positioning Minnesota as an oasis for underage individuals seeking gender-transition related interventions – puberty blockers, cross-sex hormone therapies or even surgical procedures.
