Launching on Monday, the House task force dedicated to probing into the attempted assassination of former President Donald Trump, initiated their work by seeking essential documents and insights from high-ranking Homeland Security and Justice Department officials. House Speaker Mike Johnson(R-LA) shed light on how the task force will execute its duties by stating its authority for subpoena. He mentioned that it would handle all enquiries concerning security breakdown during the Trump rally. According to his office, the panel aims at comprehending what led to this catastrophic event and to bring accountability.
