In the upcoming 2024 Emmy Awards, not just one star will be shining on stage, but two – a delightful father-son duo is set to lead the grand event. It was announced on Friday by ABC that the esteemed comedian and actor Eugene Levy and his equally talented son Dan levy have been selected as hosts for this milestone edition of the prestigious awards show which rewards innovation and excellence in television.

The Levys expressed their enthusiasm about trading their “quarantine tent” for an actual theater, an experience they find enticing given their Canadian origin. He believes Eugene Levy deserves due recognition for his superb Apple TV+ series “The Reluctant Traveler”. The Levy duo isn’t new to making history at Emmys. Back in 2020, both celebrated contributors to popular culture took home multiple awards for “Schitt’s Creek,” a show they co-created which swept all principal comedy categories at Emmys.

In sync with its tradition, The 76th Emmy Awards will air live from the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles on Sunday, September 15 (8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT). Viewers can tune into ABC to watch the event as it unfolds and catch up on Hulu the following day, says Variety.
