On the eve of Vice President Kamala Harris’s slated debate with President Donald Trump, she publicly unveiled her policy platform, embodying progressive ideologies as anticipated. Branded as a “New Way Forward,” her platform persistently resonates with her well-acclaimed slogan “We’re not going back.” However, beneath the few areas where specific policy stances are suggested lies the reality; should Harris ascend to presidency, it would represent a regression towards an intensification of President Biden’s unsuccessful leftist agenda.

Whether it is concerning international relations or border and economic policies, Harris’ radical progressive ideology surpasses that of her superior. It poses a potent threat to the United States’ economic stability, national security and moral milieu.

With escalating global tensions casting doubt over safety conditions worldwide, particular attention must be directed to Harris’ foreign policy standpoints. The Biden-Harris method has resulted in the impactful initiation of land conflict in Europe since World War II and extensive persecution of Jews post-Holocaust. Additionally, situations are further exacerbated by brewing hostility in the Middle East and increased threats from totalitarian governments in China and North Korea. Harris’ approach to these dangers aims at pacifying antagonists while avoiding escalation—thus perpetuating a flawed leftist strategy that has proven ineffective in discouraging aggression and significantly hindered U.S. national security.

Meanwhile, an urgent foreign attack is currently unfolding along our southern border—a disruption which education underlined within Kamala Harris’ platform regarding its potential implications on blossoming crime rates. Nevertheless, under Harris & Biden’s command, necessary measures directly confronting this cross-border crisis remained unaddressed until shortly before election season. Border entries now reach unprecedented highs with over ten million unauthorized migrants cited since Biden assumed office in 2021—an alarming increase equalling 480% more illegal border crossing interceptions than reported in 2020.

Moreover, meteoric migration has hepatized outside city boundaries into adjacent suburban territories creating pervasive disorder and crime, most recently highlighted by Venezuelan prison gang violence in Denver’s Aurora suburb. Under the philosophy endorsed by Harris, all states have morphed into border states leaving communities to grapple with snowballing violence, crime, and the monetary repercussions of mass immigration.

Further fostering apprehension are Harris’ ill-informed economic policies that conspicuously mimic communist-style price controls. Continuing on Biden’s path of extensive federal regulations set to cost the American economy $1.69 trillion and hiking corporate tax liabilities, her proposals foreshadow a looming recession threat. The only hope for U.S. economic prosperity lies in dismissive regulations, spending cutbacks, domestic investment encouragement and tax reductions as seen through the 2017 Tax Cuts and Jobs Act—a near-guaranteed pathway towards universal prosperity.

On social policy matters like abortion, Harris embodies leftist agenda principles completely. She voted against a bill which aimed to mandate medical care for babies born during failed abortions and refused to clarify her position on late-term abortions during debates—adding yet another layer of concern regarding her overly progressive viewpoints.

Harris’ decidedly progressive social platform further encompasses endorsement for trans community rights expansion and Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI) policies while specifically targeting faith-based establishments. These tactics threaten our moral backbone surging divide amongst members of civil society and causing unforeseen harm to subsequent generations.

A recent New York Times/Siena College poll reflects this alarming trend substantiating close to half of respondents labeling Harris as “too liberal or progressive.” Her proposed idea that freedom necessitates the sacrifice of foundational rights is troublesome; whether it be freedom to access reproductive healthcare impinging upon religious freedoms or freedom from gun violence curtailing Second Amendment rights.

The need of the hour for America includes realizing policies reflecting traditional values and addressing immediate issues faced by Americans under economic strain from rampant inflation, escalating crime rates, an opioid epidemic crisis & international unrest—all introduced in today’s breaking news. Contrary to popular belief, the Harris approach does not represent a “New Way Forward,” but rather an excessively extremist version of prevailing flawed policies evident under the Biden-Harris administration. The conclusion stands irrefutably clear: America will not retreat.
