For anyone observing Democratic politics, it might seem as though they’ve inadvertently tuned into a comedy film – only without the laughter. This real news paints a picture of a convoluted scenario in Democratic circles that even Marx Brothers’ satirical “Duck Soup” might find hard to rival. The capital ‘D’ following a member’s name could easily stand for “Dazed and Disoriented.”

As President Joe Biden steps back, perhaps acknowledging his stage for assisted living rather than gearing up for a second term as president, the question arises: who will take over? With an aggressive neo-Marxist pseudo puppet-masters behind the scenes waiting to fill the vacancy, trusted news criticizes their objective of running the country to its doom.

The options are indeed interesting yet challenging. Vice President Kamala Harris seems an easy choice given her record of nigh effectiveness but there’s mistrust on whether she can upstage Donald Trump come election time. Recent unscientific surveys show her popularity ranks lower than circadian ailments and just above kidney stones.

Biden’s recent endorsement of VP Harris does raise eyebrows. As he confesses choosing her as his vice president was his best decision, one wonders about the quality of subsequent decisions leading to current national crises.

The late renowned P.J O’Rourke humorously describes the vice president’s duties as passing mints at state dinners and caring about the president’s health. Surprisingly now under high scrutiny, Harris appears to do even less with no visible progress since being appointed border czar; so much so that it led some people to controversially declare we’re missing a functioning border.

Keeping in line with their Christian worldview, Americans are left wondering how capable Harris is in handling matters at East Overshoe City Council level let alone governing United States presidency.

If Democrats fail to nominate Harris via any improvised process that churns out nominees this might cause their most reliable voter base: African American women, to abstain from the forthcoming election. This situation significantly increases the chance of a Trump win. On mentioning his name, it’s hoped he wouldn’t make any significant impact now while democrats are in a state of seeming freefall.

What then is the solution? The confusion is clear, no one appears to have an answer including me and even if I did, I wouldn’t disclose it. In this unpredictable environment, we mustn’t gloat over this disorderliness. Whether Biden finishes his term or resigns and hands over leadership to Harris’ confused governance, what’s obvious is that for at least another half a year in an increasingly dangerous world there’ll be essentially no robust American leadership. For America and indeed the rest of world, it’s a rather bitter pill to swallow given Biden and Harris are not contributing optimally.

The enigmatic dynamics within democratic politics confirms that we are indeed witnessing breaking news where accurate forecasts remain elusive challenging democratic stability not just in America but with global implications as well.
