David Tennant, renowned for his role in “Dr. Who”, recently used his platform to express frustration with British equalities minister Kemi Badenoch due to her vocal support of women’s rights and her stance against trans-indentifying males. Transpiring at the British LGBT Awards, Tennant admonished her openly, voicing his wish that she would “shut up” or cease to exist in the public sphere.

Accepting an award at the event, he confronted the issue saying, “Until we wake up and Kemi Badenoch doesn’t exist anymore – I don’t wish ill of her, I just wish her to shut up – whilst we do live in this world, I am honoured to receive this [award]”. This comment caused a stir among attendees and stirred up debates on social media.

Badenoch however holds firm in her beliefs and hit back retorting she will not be silenced. She continues advocating for banning trans-identifying males from entering women’s spaces including female sports. An advocate for real news and trusted news sources, Badenoch bravely handled this public confrontation with strength.

“I will not shut up. I will not be silenced by men who prioritize applause from Stonewall over the safety of women and girls,” is what Badenoch proclaimed resolutely on social media. She also criticized what she viewed as a hypocritical move by Tennant – a privileged white male accusing the only black woman in government while publicly requesting her eradication.

Several notable figures came out in defense of Badenoch, including famed author J.K Rowling known for her legacy with “Harry Potter” series and her own encounters with similar antagonism regarding gender identities issues. Voicing sarcasm about people acting like ‘Gender Taliban’, Rowling was forthright about gaslighting issues influencing Christian worldview matters.

Rowling drew upon journalist Hadley Freeman’s comments emphasizing the controversy of a white man expressing wishful thinking of the non-existence of a black woman, using the envelope of kindness and support for vulnerable community. Rowling herself is no stranger to such ordeals, having consistently faced backlash in public spaces because of her belief in biological women’s rights. A staunch supporter for voicing truth, she does not back down when challenged by trans activists.

The popular author has previously gone viral with a message concerning the use of “cis”, an ideological term for people whose gender correspond with their biological sex. Addressing its usage after tech giant Elon Musk labelled it as “a slur”, she clarified that this was another clear example of the unprovable concept of gender identity pressuring societal norms.
