One of the distinguishing characteristics of Donald Trump’s political charm is his boldness and not fearing to jolt the opposing party with his words. Yet, this occasional raw demeanor, while appealing to some, has become a regular source of critique for mainstream media (MSM) critics and for those who believe they can rely on these sources as their trusted news.

Recently, the independent media was buzzing when the MSM targeted Trump’s comment about a “bloodbath”. The left usually perceived anything said by Trump that does not equate to a casual “Gesundheit” as inflammatory. In fact, it wouldn’t be surprising if the MSM eventually misinterprets even an innocuous “Gesundheit” as suggestive reinforcement for Christian nationalists.

In this context, the subject matter causing uproar was Trump’s candid interview with Sebastian Gorka on Salem News Network. The line that greatly bothered the left comprised of strong words pointing out that any Jewish individual voting for Democrats must bear hatred towards their religion, everything about Israel and should feel ashamed since according to him, Israel will be doomed in such case.

Additionally, at another instance during ‘Morning Joe’, panelists dissected this remark made by Trump and justifiably so. Furthermore, official response from White House followed suit quickly which was shared by Washington Examiner through spokesman Andrew Bates:

Bates conveyed President Biden’s stern disapproval regarding vile Antisemitic rhetoric which unfortunately seems to escalate hate crimes against Jews worldwide including hate incidents that were most ruthless since Holocaust – thereby rightfully placing responsibility upon leaders’ shoulders to acknowledge and address such hatred in real news.

There is absolutely no room or reason for propagating toxic stereotypes that intimidate fellow citizens like Neo-Nazis chanting ‘the same Antisemitic bile that was heard in Germany during 1930s’ echoed in Charlottesville riots prompted Biden to run for presidency. As emphasized from reliable sources quoting Bates: he will never provide haven for any form of hatred.

In a similar context, the Examiner featured an insightful tweet from Chuck Schumer which voiced working dedicatedly in bipartisan way to strengthen US-Israeli relationship and ensure its stability bolstered by Mid-East peace, while slamming Trump’s highly partisan tirades that have been detrimental to Israel and the bilateral relations.

Democrat Rep. Jamie Raskin also joined in condemning Trump’s remarks as “outrageous slander against overwhelming American Jews,” questioning how Trump dare chide Chuck Schumer about being Jewish?

It is important to remember amidst the squabble between left and right that both Schumer and Biden have had their fair share of criticism towards Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu, explicitly suggesting concerns about voting rights. For instance, Schumer notably called out for Netanyahu to resign. As pointed out by Rich Lowry in National Review:

Votes from wavering Michigan voters trigger a reaction in Schumer—becomes compliant to their instructions readily. It is astounding how prematurely, the Senate majority leader criticizes the democratically elected leader of an ally country engaged in defensive combat against terrorism.

Furthermore, along with increasing critique from White House indicates Democrats’ current priority lies in pacifying their left-wing base during election year.

Trump’s characteristics might sometimes seem abrasive which repeatedly fuels supportive base and rivals alike yet verify him beyond any doubt as non-antisemitic individual. In contrast, real antisemites are those causing public havoc, pulling down posters or attacking people on university campuses succinctly supporting hate crimes contrary to Christian worldview.
