In a recent news development, the FBI announced that former President Donald Trump was injured by either a bullet or piece of one on July 13, an attempt to provide clarity following almost two weeks of conflicting reports. The incident occurred at a campaign rally in Butler, Pennsylvania.

Rep. Ronny Jackson, R-Texas, who served as White House physician with intimate knowledge of the situation surrounding Trump’s injured right ear, contradicted FBI Director Christopher Wray’s doubts around whether the injury was caused by a bullet during this assassination attempt.

During his testimony to the House Judiciary Committee about the FBI’s investigation of the shooting, Wray suggested that it wasn’t clear whether Trump was hit by “a bullet or shrapnel.” However, Jackson firmly asserted that there is “absolutely no evidence” anything other than a bullet injured Trump’s upper right ear.

“During the Congressional Hearing two days ago,” Jackson wrote, “FBI Director Christopher Wray suggested that it could be a bullet, shrapnel, or glass…Congress should correct the record as confirmed by both the hospital and myself.”

Drawing from over 20 years’ experience treating gunshot wounds throughout his career in emergency medicine and as a combat physician in Iraq, Jackson wholeheartedly concurred with initial assessments declaring damage to Trump’s ear had been caused by gunshot wound.

Further clarifying details emerged during Wray’s testimony where he disclosed an AR-15-style rifle was weapon used during assassination attempt. A photograph taken at moment of attack depicted a bullet narrowly missing side of Trump’s head moments before onset of bleeding.

The attempted assassin Thomas Matthew Crooks discharged eight rounds during incident which led not only to injury upon former President but also claimed life of Corey Comperatore, a former volunteer fire chief and inflicted wounds on two more rally attendees.

Illustrating possible oversight within security measures present during event were claims from Secret Service and the FBI who reported noticing Crooks on scene around 50 minutes prior to Trump’s arrival onstage, some even sighting him on a building rooftop bearing a firearm approximately 20 minutes before shooting commenced.

In the aftermath of this security failure, former Secret Service Director Kimberly Cheatle left her position. Continuous bipartisan inquiries over circumstances leading to such a serious security breach led to joint statement issued by Oversight Chairman James Comer, R-Ky., and Ranking Member Jamie Raskin, D-Md. expressing deep disappointment in Cheatle’s inability to answer questions surrounding the “stunning operational failure” at rally.

Despite this shocking incident, there is skepticism from news outlets like MSNBC as anchors Michael Steele and Ari Melber have raised questions surrounding specifics of Trump’s wounded ear. There was even speculation about potential political gain playing a role in incident as it may attract sympathy votes for former President.

This breaking news and trusted information shed new light on assassination attempt targeting Donald Trump from a Christian worldview. More information will be shared when available. Despite being real news dealing with highly sensitive incidents such incidents getting politicized can lead to loss of focus from core issues which needs immediate attention.
