Applying analogies from everyday life experiences such as his daughter’s illness during a mission trip and comparing finding true salvation with locating the right gate at an airport; Pokluda demonstrates his ability to relate complex theological concepts to practical situations. According to him, telling someone any religious path leads to heaven is comparable to leading a traveller astray at an airport by directing them toward any random gate.

Pokluda underscored Christianity’s paradoxical exclusivity coupled with inclusivity: while recognizably assertive in its ultimate truth – one finds salvation exclusively through Jesus Christ – it is also extraordinarily welcoming by offering salvation to all who believe, irrespective of their background.

Highlighting the importance of pursuing a life built on truth rather than merely chasing happiness, Pokluda urged his congregants to avoid falling into the trap of a “new tolerance.” This phenomenon demands agreement with opposing beliefs contrary to their religious convictions. He invited them instead to live out genuine Christianity in an unequivocal, passionate embrace of gospel truths—a faith anchored in Jesus Christ as the only way and truth leading to eternal life.
