Attorney General Merrick Garland has voiced his concerns over what he perceives as baseless attacks endangering Department of Justice (DOJ) personnel and, by extension, the very bedrock of democracy in the United States. According to an op-ed published by Garland, he urges a cessation to a deluge of conspiracy theories, deceit, intimidation, and threats of violence that have escalated against civil servants under his supervision—including FBI—in recent weeks.
