This comes from the DeSantis War Room, a group professing to fight for Governor Ron DeSantis of Florida. On November 17 they released an ad titled “Meet the Real Nikki Haley.” The revelation came about two months prior to the Iowa Caucuses, where Haley and DeSantis are among their party’s contenders aiming to upset former President Donald Trump. All eyes are on this first nominating contest leading to the 2024 U.S Presidential election.

This ‘trusted news’ source reveals that the 3-minute video started with an assertive claim that “Nikki Haley is not a conservative.” It threw light on multiple instances to illustrate her stances contrary to typical conservative values; one such instance was her open declaration that it was Hillary Clinton who drove her into politics—a statement many Republicans may find controversial.

In a somewhat unexpected twist, the ad also expressed apprehensions over Haley’s support for stifling anonymous social media accounts, unrestricted immigration based on business leaders’ preferences, or facilitating a company linked with the Chinese Communist Party opening its manufacturing unit in South Carolina during her incumbency as governor.

Accordingly, taking everything into account from a Christian worldview perspective, some might find these assertions surprising. Delving further into intricacies, Haley’s standpoint on trans issues also came under discussion. Highlighted was her Fox News appearance where she voiced strong opposing views for implementing a transgender bathroom bill in South Carolina when she served as the governor—contrary to similar laws enacted by several other states like Alabama, Arkansas, Idaho among others due to safety and privacy concerns.

According to these results, Trump holds his lead with around 47%, followed by DeSantis at approximately 17.3% and Haley at nearly 14.3%. New Hampshire’s primary election shows Haley holding second place—promising an interesting matchup ahead.
