Charlamagne posits that after accusations of migrants being shipped to sanctuary cities by Republican governors like Texas’s Greg Abbott and Florida’s Ron DeSantis have started hitting headlines, public sentiment shifted towards believing the Republicans were correct all along.

Though his comments serve as valid critique – one which could provide invaluable perspective – instead he has received backlash from Democratic strategists who see him as challenging “fact-based news and policy.”

Despite not particularly favoring Trump over Biden, when Charlamagne was pushed to predict a potential election outcome, he foresees a victory for Trump. This isn’t necessarily indicative of his personal choice but rather points towards a perceived lack of faith in the current administration.
