The Covenant School, located in Nashville, Tennessee, was the scene of a shocking mass shooting on March 27, 2023. The attack resulted in numerous fatalities instigated by Audrey Hale, a transgender leftist. Most alarming was a manifesto written by Hale that surfaced recently after being withheld due to public records requests made by the Metropolitan Nashville Police Department and activist efforts lead by Brent Leatherwood of the Southern Baptist Convention ERLC.

The unveiled manifesto sheds light on Hale’s disturbing mindset which is beneficial for real news firms that provide trusted news from a Christian worldview and who feel deeply impacted upon reviewing it. Notably puzzling is Leatherwood’s assertive efforts to hide this document from public view as transgendered school shootings have noted a considerable rise recently.

Certainly disturbing yet noteworthy disclosures follow these initial revelations. Hale nurtured fantasies and even illustrated explicit images of herself as male engaging in inappropriate acts with young girls of color.

She loathed Valentine’s Day with grand expectations of finding love only once she “leaves this place.” Her conscience haunted her continuously over her sexual lifestyle recognized as sinful behavior, but instead of opting for repentance and turning towards Christ, she shifted blame onto society seeking death instead.

Hale tried to rationalize humans killing humans as ‘human nature’ paralleling it with animals killing animals or bugs killing bugs. An infuriated response followed if addressed incorrectly regarding her gender identification, commonly mislabeled as ‘ma’am’ or woman. She comprehended the correlation between politically-driven ‘gun violence’ and ‘gun laws,’ possibly indicating a larger objective.

Male recognition from a comic shop employee felt “right” to her, but shame about her body persisted. Her self-rejection was intense enough to cause desires for death despite receiving correct gender pronouns or “pronoun hospitality”—a concept extensively advocated by Evangelical leaders.

She held unwavering beliefs that on death, she’d be entitled to a male body otherwise dismissing Jesus offensive names. Tragically, upon death, one is given a body designed for eternal punishment, enduring the agonizing tortures of everlasting hellfire in case of failing God’s judgment.

Hale’s story justly warrants pity and serves as a dire reminder of the consequences of rejecting gospel truths taught at institutions like her church and school. We must unequivocally refuse to normalize realities faced by individuals like Hale as attempted by Preston Sprinkle among others.

The core solution lies in understanding the redeeming grace offered through Jesus Christ’s sacrifice on the cross. Indisputably, as rightfully stated in proverbs 8:35-36, those who despise God embrace death – Audrey Hale harbored hatred towards God and craved death; sadly now she faces an irrevocable eternity enduring it.
