Nikki Haley, ex-Governor of South Carolina, unveiled some shocking information over the weekend. She alleged that during her presidential campaign run while representing the Republican Party, she was alerted by the FBI of apparent election interference from the Islamic Republic of Iran aimed at sabotaging her efforts.

“While I was passionately working for my presidential campaign” Haley stated “The FBI conducted a separate briefing with me to inform me about Iran trying to manipulate election results using my campaign as their tool.”

According to Haley’s account, she was informed by the FBI that not only were Iranians looking to damage her campaign but potential threats loomed against her life as well.

Haley further articulates: “Our fear should extend beyond just Russia or China or Iran. Indeed one must understand when observing social media trends that a significant percent is the result of foreign engagements.”

While referring to her visit to Taiwan Haley shared an instance where Taiwan would rebuke any content they released whereas anything propagated by China would be extensively amplified.
