A record number of known or suspected terrorists have been intercepted at U.S.-Canada border since 2021 has raised alarm bells for potential terrorist infiltration via border crossings due to deep-rooted influence of Hamas within Gazan society.

The request for enhanced caution and preventive protocols have also been extended to include Palestinian emigrants entering America during President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris’s tenure where apprehensions of terrorists at northern borders have supposedly reached historical highs.

This provoked lawsuits from Jewish groups against U.S based Palestinian bodies accusing them of acting as allies and spokespersons for Hamas while inciting hate speech and violence targeted at Jews.

A group of Republican senators headed by Sen. Tom Cotton have urged the Biden-Harris administration to address these stirring antisemitic sentiments sprawling across academic institutions. Sen. Marco Rubio echoed this sentiment by calling on proper immigration control measures against any foreign nationals who openly support Hamas crimes.

Unfortunately, Democrats have rejected any deportation orders targeting pro-Hamas supporters while expanding protective measures preventing deportation aimed at “certain Palestinians”. To curb funding allegedly supplementing Hamas activities, twenty-three attorneys general appealed Congress to bring end funds directed towards a U.N agency.

Key figures at the House led by Representative Mark Green requested detailed information from Mayorkas regarding illegal immigrants crossing into U.S with ties to terrorist organizations such as Hamas. Despite previous pleas being ignored, many Republicans are persisting on maintaining rigorous scrutiny over border security policies that might be aiding terrorists entry into U.S.
