Donald Trump, the former U.S president, has agreed to submit himself for an interview as part of the ongoing FBI investigation into a recent assassination attempt. This attempt targeted him during a campaign rally in Pennsylvania, as reported by Bureau officials on Monday.

Kevin Rojek, the head of the FBI’s Pittsburgh Field Office, detailed aspects of their inquiries into the incident which occurred on July 13. He avowed that they sought to gain Trump’s unique insights and observations on the attempt.

As much as investigations aim at unearthing the truth, it is standard procedure for us to interview victims of crimes and this case isn’t any different,” Rojek explained.

Director Christopher Wray revealed last week that investigations had discovered searches related to infamous assassin Lee Harvey Oswald and President John F.Kennedy’s 1963 murder conducted on a laptop linked to Crooks. Interestingly, he made these queries about Oswald’s proximity to Kennedy when shooting him just about when he registered for Trump’s rally.
