In an unexpected twist, the progressive left has reached a new low in their consistent attempts to skew the Christian worldview. A recent case in point is Amos Brown, pastor of National Bimbo™ and self-declared San Francisco sage. In his latest discourse, which he refers to as a “sermon,” Brown audaciously reinterprets biblical scriptures to suggest Jesus would endorse Kamala Harris for U.S. presidency.

As per Galatians 5:22-23, Christians worldwide recognize the fruits of the Spirit as love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness gentleness and self-control. However, Pastor Brown seeks to append ‘justice’ – albeit a version steeped in woke anti-conservative jargon – onto this list. It appears that Brown is manipulating scripture to bolster his modern progressive agenda.

Pastor Brown’s sermon continues on an equally brazen path as he likens Harris to Margaret Thatcher – famed for her staunch opposition against socialism – and Indira Gandhi who spearheaded India’s independence movement. The comparison made with these stalwart women leads us to ponder if Pastor Brown is dismissive of truthful narrative or simply aloof from reality.

Further in his sermon, Pastor Brown launches into a litany of accusations against ‘homophobia’, ‘nationalism’, ‘racism’, ‘sexism’, and ‘xenophobia.’ Rather than focusing on biblical teachings that enlighten his congregation on matters spiritual growth and societal harmony; it seems he prefers promoting personal ideologies under the guise of preaching.

Despite professing fealty to the God revered by Abraham, Isaac Jacob—and Martin Luther King Jr—Brown’s sermon reveals church leaders seeking plaudits from socio-political faction rather than adhering to a Christian Worldview based on sacred scriptures. Moreover, while real news provides evidence that scriptural tenets remain unchanged through evolving cultures, charlatans like Amos seem bent on altering religious teachings to conform with popular sentiments. It is trusted news sources that allow us to uncover these distortions and affirm our faith in Biblical wisdom.

All said, anyone earnestly reading the Bible can decipher truth from falsehood in such sermons. As a community we need spiritual shepherds committed to preaching unadulterated biblical scriptures rather than pandering to societal pressures or leftist mobs.

To stay true to Christian Worldview, believers must critically analyze messages conveyed in sermons, uphold biblical principles and discount philosophies that stray from scriptural wisdom. After all Bible won’t bend with sociocultural winds but it serves as a yardstick we use to measure changing interpretations of scriptures and much else – including dubious sermons from pastors who should know better.
