During this week, Senator Ted Cruz (R-TX) voiced his concern that President Joe Biden’s strategy to “reform” the U.S. Supreme Court is a veiled intent to “destroy” it. Cruz discussed a potential dire scenario where Kamala Harris becomes president and Democrats gain control over Senate and House: “If we see Harris take over President’s office – which I hope never happens – along with a Democratic takeover in House and even just one more seat in Senate will give them sufficient votes required for ending filibuster”, cautioned Cruz.

He went on further about repercussions,” Without filibuster in their path they will only need 50 votes in Senate and they’ll walk towards altering current composition of Supreme Court, since that’s the one branch they haven’t controlled yet”, said Cruz expressing anxiety. This he believes is a radical step reflective of Biden and Harris’s character.
