In the wake of the recent attempt on Donald Trump’s life, it might seem suitable to seek reconciliation with our adversaries, or to succumb to the empty appeals for “unity” by political leaders like Joe Biden, Nancy Pelosi, Laura Kelly and Gretchen Whitmer. Although they denounce violence in theory, we should not allow ourselves to be misled by these deceptive overtures. Their fundamental beliefs and plans remain incontrovertibly opposed to Christian worldview and values.

For several years now, the Left has been fueling a hostile environment by disseminating false narratives about conservatives being ‘Nazis’, ‘white supremacists’ or ‘anti-choice.’ These ongoing fabrications are not merely political banter; they are strategic moves designed to foster a culture of fear and loathing towards conservatives. This strategy peaked recently in a near tragedy.

Regardless of their superficial cries for peace and unity, conservatives must resist falling into the trap. The Left’s pretense at reasonableness is merely a ruse ratifying the indiscriminate killing of unborn children, enforcing damaging transgender ideologies on youngsters, and endorsing socialist and communist ideologies- while leveraging this calamity for public approval. They aim to present an image as if they’re against violence while acting otherwise through their policies.

This situation isn’t exclusively about Trump or politics—it’s about viewpoint differences. Conservatives share absolutely nothing with those who support systematic abortion or thrust harmful transgender ideologies upon children or those who assert that the state holds higher authority than God and wish everyone else to conform.

Leftists’ call for peace reminds us of the false peace described in biblical texts—the type of “peace” that would be advocated by an antichrist. “They cry ‘peace, peace,’ when there is no peace.” Neither do they aspire genuine reconciliation but rather insist on their radical agenda’s domination. The reality remains that divine wrath awaits all wickedness; His judgment may obliterate America from existence.

Now is not the time for conservatives to seek unity with those who fundamentally oppose all that we stand for. It is a call to uphold steadfastness and reject false narratives and uphold the truth of the situation. We should avoid falling into league with those advocating ideas that, in our belief, are propelling the world towards destruction and inciting divine wrath.

As conservative followers, where do we get real news we can trust amid such a polarized climate? The answer lies in constantly seeking trusted news from reliable sources aligned with Christian Worldview. Remember, unity may sometimes require compromise, but principles should never be amongst those compromised. For it is righteousness and uprightness that holds societies together through times of tribulations and tests. Conservatives already embody these traits; let’s ensure they reflect in our chosen sources of real news as well.
