On Wednesday, House Republicans revealed a new website developed entirely for the impeachment inquiry into President Joe Biden – a platform constructed as a hub concerning allegations of corruption in his administration. Amidst her colleagues during a press conference, House Republican Conference Chairwoman Elise Stefanik (R-NY) declared this digital space tailor-made to offer the public all-inclusive access to recent findings and updates arising from the three committees undertaking the investigation.

The website also presents a detailed timeline delineating what she referred to as “what the Biden crime family did to get us to this point”. She expressed that each new piece of information brings more clarity about Biden’s unfitness for governance, citing this transparency as an indispensable American tradition.

The newly launched impeachment inquiry website showcases various features including a ‘By The Numbers’ section which, via statistics illustrates the number of subpoenas issued and ‘direct payments’ made to President Biden among other details. It also provides visitors with an option to subscribe and receive timely email updates on proceedings.

For several months now, investigations led by the GOP-dominated house have been underway delving into whether corrupt practices have been facilitated within government through business dealings engaged by members of Biden’s family. This has been largely driven by records indicating remittances amounting to millions of dollars from foreign countries. There are ongoing inquiries into how effectively the Department of Justice has handled criminal investigations pertaining to President Biden’s son, Hunter Biden.

President Biden, along with his faction, persistently dismisses any suggestions of misconduct. They argue that these investigative ventures initiated by House Republicans – primarily spearheaded by Oversight Chairman James Comer (R-KY) – are politically biased.

In face of reports speculating on Republicans’ consideration for an official vote on formulating this inquiry – which wasn’t established when Kevin McCarthy (R-CA), then-House speaker unveiled investigations in September – congressional investigators are eager to conduct extensive interviews over upcoming weeks. White House special counsel Dick Sauber, in his letter to Republican leaders, urged them to retract their subpoenas and interview requests directed at Biden family members among others. He argued against a misrepresentation of facts and popularity bias.

In contrast, Hunter Biden, one of the subpoena targets has volunteered to testify publicly before the House Oversight Committee. His offer was declined by Comer due to dissatisfactory terms but stated they would be willing to have him testify in an open hearing following the closed-door deposition slated for mid-December.

In a recent Newsmax interview, Comer stated that should Hunter Biden fail to comply with subpoenas, House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-LA) would support House Republicans who are ready to ‘take steps’ and hold him in contempt of Congress.
