Missouri state representative Ben Baker took to his social media platform to announce this heartrending news about the murder of his daughter and son-in-law, Davy and Natalie Lloyd.

The couple, dedicated full-time missionaries with Missions In Haiti Inc., met their untimely death at 9pm on Thursday during an ambush orchestrated by a gang. The U.S. State Department has since recovered their bodies, leaving behind heartbroken families who are grappling with this shocking loss.

Davy and Natalie Lloyd had only recently been married in 2022 before promptly joining Missions In Haiti, a non-profit Christian ministry that has been running operations in this troubled island nation for over twenty years. The communication channels went dark as Missions In Haiti lost communication with its missionaries amidst this chaos. Hours later, it was confirmed by them that both Lloyds and Jude had fallen victim to this brutal attack.

This tragic incident follows in the wake of American YouTuber Addison Pierre Maalouf’s kidnapping earlier in 2024 by the malevolent 400 Mawozo gang while he was on route to interview notorious gang leader Jimmy “Barbecue” Cherizier.

The FBI, currently has a standing reward of $2 million for information leading to the location and arrest of a man related to another missionary’s murder back in 2022. Meanwhile, individual efforts are being made by friends and family of the victims via fundraising on GoFundMe, with donations amounting to $25,000 at this point surpassing their initial target goal of $20,000.
